Welcome to the Community Garden at Twelve Corners Presbyterian Church! Our goal is to create a vibrant garden space where neighbors come together to cultivate not only plants but also connection, care, and community. Whether you're an experienced gardener or just starting out, there's a place for you here.
Established as part of our mission to serve the community, the Twelve Corners Presbyterian Church Community Garden provides a place for people to grow fresh, healthy produce while building relationships with others. The XX plots are available to the congregation and neighbors in the greater Brighton area, in the spirit of collaboration and stewardship.

Plot Size and Cost
Affordable and accessible, our plot sizes accommodate a variety of gardening needs, making it easy for anyone to join and enjoy the benefits of gardening.
We have raised beds of various sizes to share among the group of gardeners. The cost to join is a one-time payment of $25
Get Involved
Joining the Community Garden is easy! We are excited to welcome new members and share the joy of gardening with our community. Plots are available on a first-come, first-served basis each growing season. If you don’t have a green thumb but still want to be involved, we’d love your help! Volunteers are always welcome to assist with:
-
Garden maintenance
-
Hosting workshops
-
Community outreach efforts
Community Garden Rules
These rules are designed to ensure that our community garden remains a sustainable and welcoming space for everyone, providing an opportunity to learn, grow, and give back to the community. To organize effectively and protect the host property, the following ground rules apply:
-
Commit to your plot and responsibilities.
-
Communicate regularly with garden members and coordinators.
-
Attend meetings to stay informed and engaged.
-
Raised beds only are allowed.
-
Maintain your area. This includes water regularly (minimum of 3x/week in summer heat), weed consistently, use organic gardening practices (signed pledge required), harvest regularly to avoid waste, share tools and return them to their proper location, ensure the hose is coiled off the ground, leave church grounds as you found them, and use the designated parking spaces without blocking access lanes. If you do not care for your plot, it will be forfeited.

Our Mission and Vision
Our vision is grounded in a belief that gardening is more than just growing plants; it is about fostering relationships, nurturing the earth, and creating a space where everyone feels welcome to grow together.
-
Provide organic garden space spring through fall to the Brighton community.
-
Contribute to food justice by sharing produce with the Brighton Food Cupboard.
-
Create social capital through interpersonal garden relationships.
-
Grow an attractive garden on the median through the asphalt parking space.
